Why Stourbridge groups make the trip

It is a Thai restaurant first and a brunch venue second, which shows in the food.

Black Country appetites are well served. Salt and chilli chicken wings, then a bowl of green curry with rice, will see off any worry that brunch means a small plate and a garnish.

Two courses with 90 minutes of Prosecco, Mimosas and mocktails is £37.50 per person. Cocktail drinkers pay £42.95 and get Pornstar Martinis and the 1941 on top.

Good for: birthdays, hen dos and sisters' days out.

After the sitting

Stourbridge people know a canal when they see one. The towpath outside Brindleyplace is busier than yours, and it takes you to the Mailbox in about ten minutes.

The branch between Stourbridge Town and the Junction is often described as the shortest in Europe. It sets the tone: a tiny train, a bigger train, a tram, then lunch.
