Most restaurants near Utilita Arena are a short walk away in Brindleyplace, the canalside square between the arena and Broad Street. Siamais sits in Oozells Square, just behind it, so you can eat, walk five minutes and be in your seat for the first song.
It is a location that works for any event in the heart of Birmingham city centre: an independent Thai restaurant and cocktail bar with a heated, covered outdoor terrace, our own Thai chefs in the kitchen and a menu that covers halal, vegan and gluten free diets.
The pre-show menu is built for timing. Pick one small plate and one large plate for £30 per person: salt and chilli prawns or spring rolls to start, then green curry, Pad Thai noodles or a stir fry, cooked fresh and served at a pace that suits your show. Tell us what time you need to leave when you book, and the team will make sure you do.
Before a gig at Utilita Arena
Leave the arena towards Brindleyplace, cross the central square and Oozells Square is directly behind it, about a five minute walk. Arena nights fill our tables fast, so book at least 90 minutes before doors.
Before a concert at Symphony Hall or an event at the ICC
We are two to three minutes from the ICC and Symphony Hall on foot. Leave by the Brindleyplace canal exit and cross the bridge into the main square. Whether you are there for a concert or a conference, you can eat properly and still be back in your seat in good time.
Before a show at The Rep
The Rep and the Library of Birmingham are on Centenary Square, a short walk along Broad Street. Allow ten minutes and you have time for a cocktail before you go.
After the show
The cocktail bar stays open until 11pm Sunday to Thursday, midnight on Friday and 1am on Saturday, so you can come back for a drink when the crowds head for the trams. Our cocktail menu has twenty house signatures, and you do not need to be dining.
