The Siamais Team
Kitchen, bar and front of house at Siamais, Brindleyplace
Everything on this blog is written by the people who work at Siamais. The food guides and recipes come from our kitchen, where our Thai chefs cook the dishes of their home regions every day. The cocktail pieces come from the bar team behind the Book of Siam list. The brunch, venue hire and Birmingham guides come from the front of house and events team, who plan the parties and answer these questions for guests every week.
Siamais is an independent Thai restaurant and cocktail bar at 6-7 Brindley Place, Oozells Street, just behind Brindleyplace in Birmingham. We were named Best Fine Dining Restaurant in Brindley Place at the Wonders of Westside (WOW) Awards, and we are part of the Enchanted Ventures group alongside Lulu Wild, Aluna and Smokey Barrels.
We write about what we know first hand: how Thai food is built, what to order, how a bottomless brunch or a private hire actually works, and how to get the most out of a day or night around Brindleyplace. Where we mention prices, times or capacities they are our own and they are checked against the restaurant before publishing. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
