Why Coventry groups make the trip

Coventry has brunches of its own. It does not have one built around a Thai kitchen, and that is the reason to travel.

Brunch here is two cooked courses. Start with satay chicken or salt and chilli prawns, then a green curry, a Pad Thai or stir-fried chicken and basil with a fried egg.

The Prosecco package is £37.50 per person, with unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas and mocktails for 90 minutes. At £42.95 you add Pornstar Martinis and the 1941, our house signature.

Good for: graduations, gig days and birthdays.

After the sitting

Utilita Arena is about five minutes on foot and Symphony Hall is closer still. Book the 2pm or 4pm sitting on a gig day and walk round to the show afterwards.

With two universities and plenty of Birmingham commuters, half of any Coventry group knows the New Street run by heart. The rest just follow them to the tram.

Allow around 45 minutes door to door. That is about 20 minutes on a fast train to New Street, then a 16 minute walk or a short tram ride to the Library stop.
