Christmas bottomless brunch Birmingham: how it works at Siamais

Siamais has not published a separate Christmas brunch price or a special festive brunch menu. Festive brunch runs on the usual packages unless the team tells you otherwise when you book. That means £37.50 per person for a starter, a main and 90 minutes of unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas and mocktails, or £42.95 per person to add unlimited 1941s and Pornstar Martinis.

Sittings are at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant does create Christmas cocktails for the season, so ask what is on the bar list when you arrive. If a festive package is released closer to December, the team will confirm it by phone on 0121 643 3993 or by email at birmingham@siamais.co.uk.

One date note: Siamais is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Why Thai food works for a festive brunch

By the second week of December most people have eaten turkey and pigs in blankets three times. A Thai brunch is the change of pace. Starters include satay chicken with peanut sauce, crispy duck salad and salt and chilli prawns. Mains include green curry, massaman curry with potato and peanuts, Pad Thai and stir-fried chicken and basil topped with a fried egg.

It also solves the mixed-diet problem that every office organiser knows. Chicken and lamb dishes are halal. There are vegetarian and vegan choices in both courses, such as vegetable spring rolls, vegetable green curry and stir-fried tofu in garlic. Allergies are catered for when you flag them at booking. Anyone not drinking gets mocktails and soft drinks at the £37.50 price, so the whole team can sit together on one booking.

Work Christmas dos and team brunches

Friday sittings are the pick for a work Christmas do. A 12pm or 2pm brunch gets everyone fed, the fixed per-head price makes the budget simple, and the 90 minute format gives the afternoon a natural end point for anyone who needs to head home. Those who want to carry on can move to the bar, which is open until midnight on Fridays.

The room does some of the festive work for you: teal velvet booths, gold birdcages, lanterns and a long back-lit bar. The gold birdcage booths are semi-private and suit smaller teams. Weekend music is soulful and deep house with dance classics, so expect atmosphere but not a party host.

Remember that everyone at the table must take a brunch package, brunch is over 18s only, and the dress code is smart casual with no sportswear.

Book early: December weekends and deposits

December Saturdays are the first sittings to sell out, followed by Friday afternoons in the two weeks before Christmas. If you have a fixed date, book it in October or November.

A deposit is required for every brunch booking and is redeemed against your bill on the day. For organisers, that means collecting money from the group before you book rather than after. Give the team final numbers and any allergies as early as you can, since a busy December kitchen plans ahead.

Getting home matters more in December too. The Library and Brindleyplace tram stops are a few minutes away, with direct trams to Grand Central for New Street station. Taxis to New Street take around 7 minutes, though allow longer on the last Friday before Christmas.

Bigger groups: when to switch to an enquiry or a banqueting menu

Brunch is designed for tables of friends and small teams. If your party is too large to book online, or you want everyone seated together in one area, stop trying to make the booking form fit and send a group enquiry instead. The team will tell you what is possible for your date.

For larger Christmas meals, the banqueting set menus are often a better fit than brunch. They are served to the whole group and are not tied to the 90 minute brunch sittings.

  • Grounded in Siam: £41.95 per person, vegetarian and vegan.
  • Taste of Siam: £44.95 per person.
  • The Siam Feast: £49.95 per person, with an optional lobster middle course at £9.50 per person.

Christmas party venue hire in Brindleyplace

If the guest list runs into dozens, look at hiring the space. Siamais holds 120 seated or 150 standing, and Christmas parties are among the events we regularly host. Whole-venue hire starts from £2,000 and varies by day and time. A minimum spend applies to every private hire, and all food and drink counts towards it. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures the date and is deducted from the bill on the day.

Catering can be canapes, a buffet or a sit-down three course meal, with bespoke menus available. The bar can create company-branded cocktails, and we work with trusted photographers, decorators and entertainers if you want it all handled in one place. There is a 3D virtual tour and an events brochure if you need to show the space to colleagues before committing. See the venue hire page for details, or email birmingham@siamais.co.uk with your date and numbers.

Questions people ask

How much is Christmas bottomless brunch at Siamais?

Siamais has not published a separate Christmas brunch price. Festive brunch runs on the usual packages unless the team confirms otherwise: £37.50 per person with unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas and mocktails, or £42.95 per person with unlimited 1941 and Pornstar Martinis added. Both include two Thai courses and a 90 minute sitting.

When should I book a Christmas bottomless brunch in Birmingham?

Book as early as you can, ideally in October or November. December Saturdays sell out first across Birmingham, followed by Friday afternoons in the fortnight before Christmas. At Siamais, brunch runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm, and a deposit secures your table.

Is Siamais open on Christmas Day or Boxing Day?

No. Siamais is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. On other days the restaurant keeps its normal hours: 12pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday and Sunday, 12pm to midnight on Friday and 12pm to 1am on Saturday. Brunch runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only.

Can we book a festive brunch for a large work group?

Yes, but contact the team directly for large parties. Call 0121 643 3993 or email birmingham@siamais.co.uk with your date and numbers. For bigger groups the banqueting set menus, from £41.95 to £49.95 per person, or private venue hire may suit better than the standard 90 minute brunch sittings.

Is there a special Christmas menu for brunch?

Not a published one. The brunch menu is the regular Thai selection, including satay chicken, green curry, massaman curry and Pad Thai, and the bar adds Christmas cocktails for the season. If a festive brunch menu is introduced, the team will confirm it when you book or enquire.

Can I hire Siamais for a Christmas party?

Yes. Siamais hosts Christmas parties and holds 120 seated or 150 standing. Whole-venue hire starts from £2,000, varying by day and time, with a minimum spend that all food and drink counts towards. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures the date and comes off the final bill.
